Jeep Grand Cherokee - Video tutorial

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee MK 2, WJ - Years 1998-2004
Part: Bearing
Operation: Bearing replacement and constant velocity joint

Raise the car in correspondence with the wheel on which to carry out the repair, apply a special stand for the car and remove the wheel itself. Remove the safety split pin from the nut fixing the drive shaft to the hub (36 mm nut) and remove any spacer flange. Remove the caliper and the brake disc and the 13 pin that fixes the hub to the head support. Unscrew the 36 nut and remove the hub with the relative bearing from the drive shaft; therefore remove the drive shaft complete with constant velocity joint. Unhook the cap fixing clamp to be able to remove it; unhook the old constant velocity joint from the drive shaft and replace it with the new (or regenerated) one by repositioning the boot. Then reassemble the complete drive shaft with the new joint and then the support with the new bearing and hub. Finally reassemble the disc and the brake caliper, re-fit the spacer flange and the wheel.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?

In order to open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5, you need to press the appropriate button inside the passenger compartment, which is located in the rear part of the glove box on the driver's door. By pressing the button, the flap will unlock and it will then be possible to open it manually. Once the flap has been opened, the fuel tank access cap must be unscrewed. To close everything again, it will be sufficient to screw the tank cap again; subsequently, the flap must also be closed, pressing it so that it fits thanks to its locking mechanism.
