How to replace the battery in a Jeep Renegade. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, releasing the locking lever with your fingers, and secure it. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery at the top left; remove the securing pins of the battery terminals with the appropriate spanner; take out the battery from the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the engine bonnet after maintenance. Test the vehicle's operation.
