Replacing the Remote Control Battery on a Jeep Cherokee

Is the battery in your remote control dead and you can’t open the car? Let’s see how to do it in detail: take your remote control and press the button to release the metal key. Once the key is out, use a lever to separate the two covers as shown in the video. Extract the worn battery from the housing (after separating the two halves of the covers), take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the plastic battery holder into the remote control cover, then insert the metal key back into the cover. Check if the remote control is functioning.
