Before you begin, extract the physical key from the electronic key of your Jeep Compass by pressing the release button and pulling it out. Then, use the physical key to pry off the key cover. This will give you access to the exhausted key battery.

Proceed to unclip and remove the battery, successfully completing the disassembly. To install the new battery and close the key, simply reverse these steps, and you will have completed the replacement.
