Before starting the reset procedure for the oil change light on the Jeep Wrangler JK, ensure, as you should for any maintenance operation on any vehicle, that the car is parked on a level surface or placed on a ramp. This is to ensure the safety of the operator.

Once done, insert the key and turn it to the ignition position. Now, press the accelerator pedal three times.

Turn off the ignition and start the engine. This way, you can check that the oil change light is off.
