How to Update the U-Connect System on Jeep Renegade and Compass

Talking about the infotainment system of the Jeep Renegade, in the UApp screen, there are all the applications: we have Radio (AM/FM/DAB) where we can choose various settings (bass, equaliser, etc.). From this page, there is a shortcut that leads to the maps. We see Media: USB and Aux-in, Bluetooth, and here are all the audio settings. Go to Climate: it replicates the buttons found on the central console that everyone knows. Navigation: it is managed by TomTom and works in the same way. However, via the phone, we can use Apple Maps or Google Maps. Phone: naturally, we can call all our numbers, redial the last number called; it works like all phones. Settings: time and date, units of measurement, locking and unlocking doors, brakes, lights, audio, various vehicle settings. Then there is the battery consumption application, which allows us to schedule charging and driving history, showing how much we have travelled on electric or petrol, how much has been recovered, and the power flow, i.e., how much each component consumes during driving. The dashboard screen is controlled by the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, where there are also voice buttons for phone calls. On the right side are the buttons that control the adaptive cruise control. On the screen, we can see the rev counter and the charge of the traction battery. We control the information provided by the screen: Speedometer; tyre pressure; radiator temperature; gearbox oil temperature; oil temperature; battery charge; how many days until the service; Driver assist: fuel economy; hybrid information; how much I am braking and how much I am accelerating; charge/power; total trip, in electric, in hybrid; media information; vehicle settings: display, safety, alert volume, phone, navigation. Everything necessary for everyday life.
