First, open the fuel flap and start by unscrewing and removing the fuel cap, detaching it from the plastic tether; then pry out the lock cylinder to remove it from the cap itself. At this point, replace and install the new lock cylinder (the new key is required), replacing the rubber seal; finally, reattach the fuel cap!
