Oil Change and Maintenance

Model: Jeep Wrangler MK 3, JK - Years 2007-2018

Release and lift the bonnet, then locate the oil filler cap, which is on the right side of the engine. Above it, you will find indications on the type of oil to use. On the other side, you can find the oil level indicator, allowing you to check the level at any time. For an accurate reading, wait until your vehicle has been at rest for at least 30 minutes. If the level is too low, you can top up the oil by simply removing the cap located at the side of the engine, using a funnel if necessary.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
