How to replace the engine oil and oil filter on the Kia Rio

Model: Kia Rio UB, MK 3 - Years 2011-2017
Part: Engine oil

The oil light on the instrument panel of the Kia Rio model 3 indicates that it is necessary to replace the engine oil and oil filter on the vehicle. To perform this operation, we must first open the front hood and unscrew the oil tank cap to facilitate the oil drainage. Then we must lift the vehicle and unscrew the oil cap using a Torx key, wait for the liquid to drain out, then close the cap and unscrew the oil filter cover nut. Replace the filter and lower the vehicle back to the ground. Finally, top up the oil in the tank.

Before removing the airbag from the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals; insert the removal keys into the slots at the back of the steering wheel and unlock the airbag. Once the airbag is released, disconnect its power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the large central bolt and remove the steering wheel from the column.
