How to change the engine oil in a Kia Picanto

To change the engine oil in a Kia Picanto, start the engine for a few minutes to slightly warm the lubricant and facilitate its drainage. Then turn off the vehicle and lift it safely. Place a container under the oil sump and unscrew the lower plug to completely empty the circuit of the old oil. Once the drainage is complete, remove the oil filter and clean any residue present in the area. Before installing the new filter, lubricate the seal with a bit of new oil and screw it in without forcing. Close the drain plug, lower the car to the ground, and insert the new oil through the upper engine filler cap in the specified quantity. Finally, start the engine, check for leaks, and monitor the oil level, adding more if necessary.
