In order to replace the battery of the Kia Rio you have to go and open the hood so that you can have access to the components inside the engine compartment. The battery is located in the upper right area, immediately above the air filter box. By unscrewing its fastening bolts and disconnecting the appropriate power cables, it will be possible to remove the old battery from its housing, so that a new one can be inserted. The latter must then be connected to the cables and fixed with the appropriate bolts, finally closing the hood.
