Replacing the engine oil of the Kia Picanto is a very simple operation that can also be done independently, the important thing is to buy the original filter and the oil from the manufacturer. First we lift the car with the jack to be able to disassemble the oil pan with the use of a socket wrench, so as to let the old oil out. As soon as we have seen that the leak has stopped we can reassemble the oil sump. We put the car back on the ground and change the filter. It is located under the exhaust manifold, to be able to divert it we must use a chain wrench. We remove and insert the new filter. Now to conclude we can insert the new oil, the capacity is 3 litres.
