How to replace the battery of the Kia Ceed key

One of the simplest operations you can perform with your first generation Kia Ceed (2006-2012) is definitely the replacement of the button battery located inside the key. Below we will explain step by step how to perform the replacement independently. First, press the button located on the top of the cover and remove the emergency key from the side. Then proceed to remove the back cover of the remote control and replace the old battery with a new perfectly compatible one. Finally, reassemble the back cover.
