How to Install a Spoiler on a Lada X-ray

Model: Lada Xray MK 1 - Years 2015-2022

If you want to install a spoiler on your Lada X-ray, obtain it in advance from e-commerce platforms with longer delivery times. Place the spoiler on top of the rear window and temporarily secure it with tape, marking the outline of the spoiler with paper markers. Thoroughly degrease the areas where the spoiler will be permanently mounted, then apply a thin layer of primer. Make cross-cuts on the part of the spoiler that will contact the body with a utility knife. Apply silicone adhesive, ensuring it follows the outline of the profile and some in the center. Now remove the tape covering the edges of the part that contacts the body, which we have reinforced with silicone. Remove the markers from the body and position the spoiler. This is the most delicate moment; it’s better to have someone assist you. Use the same method for the hatch spoiler if you plan to install that as well. The procedure is identical.
