How to Remove the Key Battery on Lancia Ypsilon

Is the battery in your Lancia Ypsilon remote dead? Here's how to change it. Take the remote and press the metal key release button. Once the key pops out, detach the frame of the key cover and separate the key covers. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screw in the plastic of the key. Remove the plastic battery holder, then replace it with a new one of the same size and voltage using a small screwdriver. Install the new battery in the compartment and finally in the cover. Test the remote by pressing the buttons.
