How to Reset the Lambda Sensor Error in a Lancia Ypsilon

If the warning light for the particulate filter malfunction illuminates, it is necessary to check the Lambda sensor. This sensor may be dirty or clogged, causing an incorrect reading of the oxygen value, which leads the ECU to generate an error. In this case, remove the sensor and clean it. To do this, open the bonnet, lift the engine cover, and locate the sensor at the back of the engine, near the bottom. Once removed, clean it of any deposits with a degreasing product and dry it with a cotton cloth. Finally, reposition and reattach the sensor to complete the job.
