Lancia Ypsilon - Video tutorial

Model: Lancia Ypsilon Y3, 846, MK 3, Ypsilon 3 - Years 2011-2023
Part: Light bulb
Operation: How to replace the stop light on the Lancia Ypsilon

The first thing to do to replace the Lancia Ypsilon brake light bulb is to open the tailgate, and unscrew the screws that hold the optical group of interest in place with a 10 mm wrench. The screws are in the thickness where the tailgate hits when closed. At this point we have to insert our fingers in the space left free by the bolts and pull towards us, raising it at the same time. With a slotted screwdriver, we will disassemble the wiring of the electric bulbs, freeing the headlight assembly from the car. Now we can remove the cap that keeps the brake light bulb covered and change it. Remember never to touch the light bulb with your bare hands. Let's put the bulb back in its place. Now we can put the optical unit back in place, by reassembling the connection pin and then matching first the upper part and then the two side pins. Now we can screw the two screws back on. Job finished.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
