This guide shows how to replace the battery in a Range Rover Velar Mk1. As an optional first step, to avoid having to reconfigure the onboard electronic system, you can install a backup power system in the fuse box in the engine compartment; otherwise, proceed with the replacement.

Open the trunk and remove both the mat and the spare tire with the appropriate tools.

At this point, remove the three 13 mm bolts securing the battery; disconnect the battery terminals and isolate them. Remove the battery hold-down bracket and take out the battery itself.

Installation is the reverse.
