Here’s how to reset the service light on a 2014 Range Rover Sport: open the driver’s door and the hood. Then turn on the ignition. Now press the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal simultaneously. Keep both pedals pressed for exactly five seconds, then release both pedals. Check that the oil warning light has turned off. If the light does not turn off, repeat the procedure. This procedure only works with the door and hood open, as the control unit identifies this position as being used by a repair shop.
