Removing Gear Knob Gaiter on Land Rover Freelander 2

Pull the lower part, the gaiter, off the gear knob. You can now pull it upwards to remove it from the internal lever.

To remove the knob, ensure that the small plastic lever is disengaging. Conveniently, the plastic (or trim) of the gear lever can be removed simply by pulling it off with your hands.

You will need to pull it upwards and then backwards (towards the cabin). Disconnect the connector.

At this point, with the gear casing in hand, look at the bottom and you will see the small clips that secure the gaiter. Release them with a flat screwdriver and remove it.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
