How to Remove the Radiator Fan from a Land Rover Discovery

Model: Land Rover Discovery MK 2, Discovery 2, L318 - Years 1998-2004

Before you begin, open the hood of your Land Rover Discovery. Start by unscrewing and removing the four screws that secure the upper cover of the fan, then remove the cover itself. This will give you access to the radiator fan. Next, unscrew and remove the three bolts that attach the fan to its pulley. Once you have removed these three bolts, you will have successfully freed the fan. At this point, to remove it, simply pull it upward, and you will have successfully completed the disassembly.
