Today, we'll go through the procedure to remove and replace the diesel fuel filter on the first and second generation Land Rover Defender. First, locate the diesel fuel filter and start by removing the plastic cover by unscrewing the side screw; then remove the bottom cap, allowing all the diesel to drain into a container. At this point, use the filter wrench to unscrew and remove the filter, as shown in the video. Finally, install and hand-tighten the new one and reattach the outer plastic cover!
