How to Replace the Fuel Filter on a Land Rover Defender

Model: Land Rover Defender MK 6 - Years 1990-2016
Part: Diesel fuel filter

Before starting, open the hood of your Land Rover Defender. First, completely loosen the bolt on the valve that controls the flow of fuel into the filter. Next, unscrew and remove the fuel filter from its housing. By doing this, you will have freed the fuel filter itself. Proceed to pull the filter out of the engine compartment. Once you complete this step, the disassembly will be finished. To install the new fuel filter, repeat these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
