How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a Land Rover Freelander

To remove the diesel filter from the Land Rover Freelander, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment: the diesel filter is located just below the windscreen on the right side. Before you can remove it, disconnect the hoses connected to the upper part of the filter; once the hoses are detached, loosen the screws securing the filter in its housing and remove it. When the old filter has been removed, insert the new filter and reconnect it to the previously detached hoses. It should also be secured with the relevant bolts.
