How to replace the diesel filter on a Land Rover Freelander? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Remove the front left wheel; take off the plastic splash guard. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts of the filter housing (remove the metal plate). Remove the securing bolts of the diesel filter housing and disconnect the various hoses. Extract the diesel filter kit and position a new one of the same size. Finally, reassemble everything by reversing the disassembly steps.
