To replace the key fob battery in a Land Rover Discovery, insert a flat object into the groove that separates the two halves of the fob. This will allow you to open it and access the battery. Remove the battery from its housing by pushing from the bottom with a screwdriver.

Once the old battery is removed, replace it with a new one. Insert the new battery into its housing, and then reassemble the two halves of the fob.
