How do you reset the Service light on the Land Rover Evoque?

Model: Land Rover Evoque L538, MK 1 - Years 2011-2018

The Service indicator shown on the instrument panel of the Land Rover Evoque can be reset by opening the hood and then the driver's door, turning the ignition key to turn on the instrument panel. In this way, a message will appear indicating the need for maintenance: while the instrument panel is on, you will need to press both the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously for about a minute. Then you can release both pedals and turn the key to turn off the instrument panel; when it is turned on again, you will notice that the indicator light is off.
