How to replace the battery of a Lexus NX 300 key?

To replace the battery of a Lexus NX 300 key, start by taking the key and locating the small release button on the side. By pressing this button, remove the emergency metal key, which allows access to the inside of the key. With the metal key removed, you will notice a small slot where you can gently pry open the key shell. Once opened, you will see the battery, usually a CR2032, positioned inside. Carefully remove the used battery, perhaps using a small flathead screwdriver, being careful not to damage the contacts. Insert the new battery making sure the positive side is facing upwards. After placing the new battery, close the key shell by exerting a slight pressure until you hear a click, indicating that the key has returned to its original position. Finally, reinsert the emergency metal key and make sure everything is securely closed.
