How to remove the steering wheel of the Lexus RC.

In this guide, we will look at the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and remove the steering wheel of the Lexus RC. First, we get inside the vehicle and start by removing the steering wheel airbag, detaching it from the back; then we disconnect its electrical connector. At this point, we unscrew the central nut of the steering wheel using a socket wrench with an extension, disconnecting the various wiring for the steering wheel controls; we then remove the steering wheel and, if necessary, replace it with the new one, securing it properly and making the various connections; finally, we reassemble the steering wheel airbag.

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system. Position the new intercooler radiator in the grille, temporarily securing it with cable ties, and mark with a marker the part of the metal that needs to be removed to allow the new hoses to pass through. Cut the marked portion of metal and apply a gasket to the edge.
