How to open the stuck boot on the Lexus ES?

On the Lexus ES, the boot may become stuck, for example, due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, perform the emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, go to the rear seat, then lower the centre armrest and open the newly freed hatch. Next, locate the cord with a ring at its end and pull it towards you to manually unlock the lock. The boot is now free to be opened.
