Replacing the Car Water Pump

Model: Lexus IS MK 3 - Years 2013-2024

This guide shows you how to change the water pump in your car. Once you locate the position of the part, lift the car on the side of the pump, ensuring it is safely elevated. Proceed to remove the wheel to easily access the pump. Identify the drain screw, which is usually located at the bottom of the radiator. Unscrew it to drain the cooling circuit, placing a container to collect the liquid. Remove the belt that drives the pump and disconnect the hoses that supply liquid to the pump. Now, simply loosen the bolts securing the pump and remove it.
