In order to replace the Lincoln MKT air filter, you have to open the hood, so that you have access to the box that contains the filter: the latter is positioned immediately under the battery, on the right side of the engine block. Then it will be possible to open the box by unhooking the fixing clips and extracting the filter inside its housing. After the old filter has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new one, closing the box; you will have to fix the cover with the relative clips, checking that everything works correctly.
