To replace the air filter in a Lincoln MKT, open the hood to access the box containing the filter: it is located just below the battery, on the right side of the engine block. Then, open the box by releasing the retaining clips and extract the filter from its housing.

After the old filter is removed, insert the new one, close the box; secure the cover with the clips, ensuring everything functions correctly.
