As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the cabin filter in the Lincoln MKX is an extremely simple and cost-effective operation. First of all, let's position ourselves on the passenger seat, then open the glove compartment, empty it, and disconnect the end-of-travel cord located on the right side. Next, we release the internal blocks, place the drawer on the floor, and locate the long rectangular door at the back of which the filter is positioned. Finally, we clean the inside of the housing from any possible residue and insert the replacement in the right direction.
