To replace the cabin filter in a Lincoln MKX, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side. This will allow you to disengage its internal mounting pins. Once these pins are loosened, lower the glove compartment completely to access its rear. Here, you will find the cover of the air filter box, which needs to be opened to remove the air filter inside. This can now be replaced with a new one by reattaching the cover of the box and the glove compartment.
