Here are the simple steps to replace the battery of the vehicle's key: remove the protective cover of the key and take out the emergency key. Use a screwdriver to pry open the seam of the two halves that make up the remote. Use the same screwdriver to pry and remove the battery from the housing. Take the new battery (model CR 2032) and place it in the housing, ensuring the positive terminal is facing up. Then, reattach the back shell of the remote by pressing it together with your fingers.
