How to Install Interior Adjustable Mirrors on Maruti Alto 800

The Maruti Alto 800 has mirrors that require you to adjust them manually from outside. Let's see how to replace them with mirrors that can be adjusted from the inside. A pair of these mirrors costs about $15.99 on AliExpress. First, remove the plastic triangle on the inner side of the glass, which comes off easily since it is press-fit. Underneath, there are three screws that you will remove. At this point, the entire mirror comes off. Clean the support panel well before installing the new mirror. Simply insert the mirror by passing the adjustment lever through the hole, along with its spacer. First, position the small yellow plastic nut in its housing. Reinstall the three screws that hold the mirror in place. Now, position the plastic triangle with its hole for the adjustment lever. When placed correctly, it will snap into place. A fastening screw is needed here, which will secure into the yellow plastic nut you positioned earlier. Finally, tighten the seal on the control arm. Now, repeat the process on the other side. The job is complete.
