To replace the front brake pads on a Maruti A-Star, lift the car using a jack or lift so that the corresponding wheel is off the ground. Once the car is raised, unscrew the bolts securing the wheel and remove it. Behind the wheel, unscrew the mounting bolt for the brake caliper, which must be removed by sliding out the pads inside. After removing the old pads, insert the new ones, reattach the caliper, and reinstall the wheel.
