To replace the steering box in a Maruti A-Star, lift the vehicle with a jack or lift so that the front wheels are off the ground: then, completely remove the wheels along with the connected control arms. This will free the steering box, allowing you to remove it from its housing by unscrewing the mounting screws. Once the old box is removed, install the new one by securing it to its supports and reinstalling the control arms and wheels.
