Operation: How do you replace the steering box of the Maruti A-Star?

In order to replace the steering box of the Maruti A-Star, you need to lift the car with a jack or a lift so that the front wheels are not in contact with the ground: therefore, they will need to be completely removed along with their respective brackets connected to them. In this way, the steering box will be freed and can be removed from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws. Once the old box has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new one by securing it to its supports and reinstalling the brackets and wheels.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it.
