How to Replace the Air Filter on a Maruti 800

If you need to replace the engine air filter on this model and are unsure how to proceed, you will find the instructions and steps to follow in the description below and in the video. First, open the hood and unscrew the nut located at the center of the air filter housing above the engine, then unclip the steel clips on the sides. Remove and lift the cover of the air filter housing and take out the toroidal filter. Next, take the new filter and insert it into the housing, then close the cover by reattaching the clips and screwing the nut back in.
