How to Properly Use the Charging Port on the Maxus e-Deliver3 Van

Let's see how to properly use the charging port on the Maxus e-Deliver3 van: to open and close the charging flap, unlock the vehicle with the remote, then press the centre of the emblem located at the centre of the grille with the palm of your hand. To close and lock it, press again until you hear the "click" of the closure. The upper port is for AC charging, while the lower one is for rapid DC charging. The rubber caps overlap, so when closing, insert the lower one first and then the upper one. The cable locks automatically during charging; to remove it, simply unlock the vehicle with the remote. If the remote battery is flat, access the cabin using the physical key, open the front bonnet, and pull the emergency release cable located at the front of the compartment; this will stop the charging. If the flap is difficult to open, ensure the vehicle is unlocked; apply firm pressure to the centre of the emblem, clean and lubricate the locking pins; also check that the two rubber caps inside the flap are present; they may fall out; they are not essential but help with the sliding.
