How to Remove the Radio from a 2007 Mazda 6 and Replace it with a Touchscreen Stereo

To replace the radio with a touchscreen stereo in a 2007 Mazda 6, follow these steps. First, remove the entire plastic surround around the handbrake, gear lever, and dashboard. This will give access to the screws that secure the radio unit. After unscrewing the front screws, carefully remove the glove compartment and take out the side screw. At this point, disconnect all the connectors and remove the unit. Once the unit is removed, disassemble it piece by piece and, as shown in the video, refit the pieces into the new housing provided with the touchscreen stereo. Once connected and powered correctly, secure the screen in place of the radio and proceed to reassemble the plastic surround.
