Replacing Mirror on Mazda 6

Is the mirror on your Mazda 6 in need of replacement? Here's how to remove it. Dismantle the door panel to access the mounting screws. Use a lever to remove the part of the interior trim of the mirror (there are plastic clips) and unscrew the securing screws with the appropriate socket tool. Once the securing pins are removed, take out the mirror along with the electric adjustment cables from the car door. Fit the new mirror with the screws, adjustment cables, and the plastic trim into the door panel. Refit the door panel.
