Before we can begin, we will have to go and open the front hood of our Mazda 6. The diesel filter is located in the bottom left corner of the engine compartment. So let's start by disconnecting its plug and disconnecting the various sleeves connected to it. After that we will have to unscrew and remove the bolts that secure it. Once we have removed the bolts, we can proceed with extracting the diesel filter, and we will have finished the disassembly. To fit the new filter and close everything, we will only have to repeat these instructions, but in reverse. By doing so, we will have successfully completed the replacement.
