How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a Mazda 6

Remove the diesel filter on a Mazda 6. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard; lift the front bonnet and secure it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then use a socket spanner to unscrew the fastening bolts around the plate supporting the filter (disconnect the power connectors and various circulation hoses) where it is located. Extract the diesel filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, refit the diesel filter container (connect hoses and cables) and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet.
