In this video, we will see how to remove the fuel pump filter on a Mazda 6: this filter is located under the back seat, behind the driver (left-hand drive); once we lift the seat, we need to unscrew the four screws that secure the cover; we give it a good clean with a blast of compressed air and then remove the electrical connector, then we take the pump out of the well and bring it to the workbench, where we will disassemble the filter, which we will have obtained in the meantime, for example from Fruugo. The code is 329896064-728160263 at the price of 6.95 euros for 2 pieces + 10.99 euros for shipping costs. We reassemble the filter and then put the pump back in its housing and reconnect the electrical connector; we close the cap and then put the seat back in place.
