Removing the Car Radio for Repair

Due to the delicacy of the work, it is advisable to perform the operation if you have some experience. Remove the gear lever cover and the associated plastic panel by prising at the edges with a plastic tool.

Also, remove the gear knob. Disconnect the wiring of the switches and pull it from the gear lever.

Unscrew all the screws from the radio and climate control panel frame. Carefully remove the frame by prising on all sides, and then also remove the complete panel by gently pulling it from its housing.

Disconnect all the wiring at the back until it is completely removed.
