Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

Model: Mazda 5 MK 1 - Years 2005-2015

Place chocks under the rear wheels and lift the front with a jack positioned at the centre. Remove the splash guard to access the oil sump: place a suitable container under the drain plug (located at the rear) and unscrew it to allow the used oil to drain out; screw it back in once draining is complete. In front of the oil sump, you will find the filter cartridge: unscrew it and replace it with a new one after coating the gasket with oil to improve adhesion. Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to the quantities and SAE specifications indicated in the user manual after lowering the vehicle to check the level. Also check the levels of other fluids.
