Replacing Engine Oil and Oil Filter

Model: Mazda 5 MK 1 - Years 2005-2015

To replace the engine oil and the corresponding filter, position the vehicle on suitable car ramps to facilitate access to the oil sump; unscrew the drain plug at the rear of the sump and collect the used oil in a suitable container. Once the draining is complete, re-screw the plug. Next, proceed to remove the filter located just in front of the oil sump; then apply the new filter after coating the gasket with oil and do not exceed the tightening torque. Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to the SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the user and maintenance manual.
