How to Replace the Key Battery on a Mazda 2

Start by pressing and holding the button on the back of the key fob for your Mazda 2, then extract the physical emergency key. Next, using a thin but sturdy tool to pry, unclip and remove the back of the key to access the exhausted battery cover. Proceed to unclip and remove the battery cover, then extract the battery itself, and the disassembly will be complete. To install the new battery, follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
