Complete Removal of the Front Dashboard

Model: Mazda 6 MK 1, GG - Years 2002-2008

To remove the dashboard, open the glove compartment and remove the upper plastic trim. To avoid leaving marks, use a special tool or a plastic tool to also remove the trim around the steering wheel. Unscrew all the screws located under the trims. Pull up the cover of the steering column and unscrew the screws located under the instrument panel. Unscrew the screws on the sides of the dashboard under the door seals and remove the corresponding plastic clips. Unscrew the screws on the air vents and the screw located at the centre of the dashboard near the windscreen.
